Fantastic show, one of '77's best.

The Terrapin is majestic. Nice pick!

I especially like that Playin> China Cat> I Know You Rider> China Doll> Playin> Drums> NFA> Playin sequence.

Only China>Rider of 1977!

The crowd reaction when it starts is spine-tingling!

It was another failed attempt at stealth marketing that turned into a hijacked thread because I am a fanatical glob of mediocre molecules assembled asymetrically in an imperfect world that doesn't owe me anything.

And I just came to that conclusion after 35+ years of denying it the other day.

Kinda like popping out of the rabbit whole during a midlife crisis nervous breakdown street without health insurance and a big IRS bill that's gonna get bigger and well, I should have saved some money...

Crappy trails to me... the lightstick is evil and my cactuses are begging me not to eat them.

If all you got to live for is what you left behind,
Get yourself a powder charge and seal that silver mine.
Lost my boots in transit, baby, pile of smokin' leather.
I nailed a retread to my feet and prayed for better weather.

What is wrong with the world today?
Where do I start, what do I say?
Depending on who you're talking to
There could even be something wrong with you

Some folks say its getting hot
Some folks say that it's not
When up is down and left is right
Meet me in the middle and we'll be all right

There's only so much time for debate
There only so much space for opinion
The train of logics leaving don’t be late
The end is only the beginning

What is wrong with the world today?
Everyone sees the truth their own way
No matter how much fact you show them
You can plant seeds but you can't always grow them

Some folks say our soul's eternal
Creation to cremation the burn infernal
Some folks think they're coming again
As a bear or a turtle or an elephant

unamed song never put to music

RHCP

On a far away island
of Salamasond
Yertle the turtle
Was king of the pond
A nice little pond
It was clean it was neat
The water was warm
There was plenty to eat
Until one day
The king of them all
Decided the kingdom
He ruled was too small
I'm a ruler of all that I see
But I don't see enough
And that's the trouble with me

With this stone for a throne
I am too low down
I cannot look down
Upon the places beyond
So Yertle the turtle king
Lifted his hand
And Yertle the turtle king
Lifted his hand
He ordered all the turtles
Onto one another's back
He piled them high
Into a ten turtle stack
I'm Yertle the turtle
The things I now rule
I'm king of a cow
I'm king of a mule

Then down from below
In the great turtle stack
Came a burp from a plain
Little turtle named Mack
Just part of the throne
This burpin' little turtle
Looked up and said "I beg
Your pardon king Yertle"
I've pains in my back
My shoulders and my knees
How long must we stand
Here your majesty
"Silence !" the king of the
Turtles barked back
To the bad burpin'
Little turtle named Mack
I'm Yertle the turtle
Oh marvelous me for
I am ruler of all that I see

Yertle, Yertle the turtle...
Yertle, Yertle the turtle...

Nope; real men live with coyotes, though they have been known to kill the human kind.

I've been in hurricanes
I've been in blizzads
I've eaten monkey brains
I've eaten lizards

I lie half the time
I tell the truth
I am a pantomime
I am a sleuth

I've been in surgery
I've had shrinks
I learned in therapy
That life stinks

I've got my music
To get me through
Before I lose it
And get taboo

TIME IS NOT ON MY SIDE
I'D RATHER BE HIGH
I'M BARELY ALIVE
I JUST WANNA DRIVE
